About the Role

Rangeland RV is seeking a licensed RV Technician to complement our already wonderful service team. We carry a wide range of travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, tent trailers, and toy haulers — which means no two days look the same. If you're self-motivated, take pride in your work, and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment, this is your next move. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic & Repair
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV systems and components to identify issues.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and chassis systems.
  • Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts and components.
Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep RVs in optimal condition.
  • Service and maintain engine systems, brakes, tires, and other critical components.
  • Conduct safety checks and address any potential hazards.
Customer Interaction
  • Communicate with customers to understand concerns and explain necessary repairs.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines.
  • Offer advice and recommendations for RV maintenance and upgrades.
Technical Skills
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics for accurate repairs.
  • Stay current on the latest RV technologies and repair techniques.
Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including photos, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Complete work orders and service reports accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean, adhering to safety protocols.
Quality Assurance
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on completed repairs to ensure proper functioning.
  • Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
